It’s the fourth quarter of the Finish-A-Long (FAL for those in the know) and I’m ready to give it another go.
My third quarter saw me finishing one of three projects. Ya, let’s see if I can do better this time.
So, we’ll start with the big yellow string quilt. The top is done, the thing is quilted, the binding is on it AND the binding is partially sewn down; all that’s left is to finish sewing the binding down. That’s it, yet, this quilt has been sitting in my TV room for about nine months now waiting for me to finish sewing the binding down. Why is this so hard? I don’t even mind sewing binding down.
Think that one’s bad, check out the story on this one:
This one has been sitting in my TV room waiting to have the binding sewn down for at least two years! I am lame! The top was in my closet for probably 8 years before that waiting to be quilted. I am super lame!
I could knock those two off the list in two nights if I really wanted to. I am just going to be ashamed—I mean A-SHAMED—if I don’t get them done.
I’m going to throw one more into the mix:
This hankie quilt top has been finished forevah! Time to get it quilted. I have no idea how to quilt those hankie blocks but it is time to make it happen. And this sucker is big… like almost king-sized big.
I’m rolling up my sleeves now. I’ve got some work to do.
